Wolf Haven International has been working for wolf conservation since 1982. Located in Tenino, WA, just south of Olympia, Wolf Haven offers lifetime care & sanctuary for captive-born wolves. Wolf Haven also participates in a federal Species Survival Plan program for two endangered species: the Mexican gray wolf and the red wolf. Visitors are invited to go on guided walking tours of the wolf sanctuary. Want to make a donation, adopt a wolf or become a Lone Wolf member? Just go to www.WolfHaven.org and find out how you can help.
Learn more about one of our wolves:
Juno
Year of birth: 2009
Wolf Haven resident since: 2011
Juno is a very beautiful wolfdog with a cream colored coat, dark highlights, and striking eyes. She is also one of the tallest females here at Wolf Haven International. Normally Wolf Haven Int. rescues wolves rather than wolf-dogs. In this case, however, we had Shadow, a one-year old wolf with limitless energy and in desperate need of a companion. Although initially aloof, Juno and Shadow are now the best of friends and like to "jaw-wrestle" together.
