Help Eastern Washington with Supplies for Firefighters!


Puyallup Nursing and Rehabilitation, Puyallup Tribal, Sound Community Band, Consonus Pharmacy, Payless Pharmacy, PacLab, Hagan's and PrestigeCare Inc need your help with gathering supplies to assist firefighters and first responders over in Eastern Washington. The need is huge and there are many fire sights that need help!. Please help by dropping off supplies by Friday, August 28th ast 6pm to 516 23RD AVE SE, PUYALLUP WA 98372. Some supplies needed include: Tube socks, Burn Relief Spray,Ibprofen and more. Seattle, WA NF Walk


The Second Annual Seattle-Tacoma NF Walk is coming to the Point Defiance Park-Owen Beach (5605 Owen Beach Road, Tacoma, WA) on Saturday, September 12th. The Children's Tumor Foundation, which organizes the walk, is dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions of people worldwide living with neurofibromatosis (NF). NF can cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and may lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain. Support research efforts by bringing your family, friends, and neighbors for face painting, Zumba, photo booths, a bean bag toss, kids run, and guest appearance from the 501st Legion Star Wars charaacters. SUBWAY Walk in the Park


SUBWAY® restaurants are partnering with the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission to launch Walk in the Park for the third year in a row. Beginning on National Get Outdoors Day – Saturday, June 13 – and continuing through September 30, anyone who shows a Discover Pass at a participating SUBWAY® restaurant throughout Washington State will receive a voucher good for a free six-inch sandwich with the purchase of a six-inch sandwich of equal or greater price and a 30 oz. drink. Vouchers will also be available at parks in the participating counties when staff is available.

Light The Night Walks


Light The Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) which brings together families and communities to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the diseases, and shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
