New artist Brantley Gilbert with his hit single "Country must be country wide," can be heard first on 100.7 The Wolf!
Georgia native Brantley Gilbert is not new to the country music industry, but is well on his way to his own stardom with the release of his third album, "Country Must Be Country Wide." Gilbert has been writing big-hit songs like "Dirt road Anthem," and "My Kinda Party," for country artists like Jason Aldean and Colt Ford. However, he did not decide to pursue his own career as a singer until he suffered a life threatening car accident that changed his life. Gilbert said, "If you’re gonna live, do something with it. Make it great."
"Country must be country wide," was written while on the road with Colt Ford (who helped co-write the song) when Gilbert noticed that country folks are not only in the South, but all over the Northwest too! "Country lives on in the hearts of the true country fans," said Gilbert. Tune into 100.7 The Wolf to listen to "Country must be country wide," because Gilbert is becoming yet another artist to keep an eye on in 2011.
