About:
LBT started in 1998 with member Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook. They’ve sold around 1.5 million records and have a new album out called Tornado. Their producer for this album, Jay Joyce, has done work for others artists such as Eric Church. Some of her methods for Tornado were for LBT to use their road band in the studio. “That ended up being a huge part of the energy and spontaneity that comes across on the album,” Kimberly says. “We have a natural chemistry with those guys,” Phillip adds. “We already loved playing with them on the road, so being with them in the studio made sense. It was amazing how great it felt.”

Husband and wife duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson make up Thompson Square, a country act that has rocketed to success. In 2011 alone, the couple was nominated for fourteen separate industry awards, and their Grammy-nominated smash hit "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" became the most played song on country radio. Originally planning to pursue solo careers, the couple realized that they had something special together, and Thompson Square was born. Keifer says: "After a while it made sense to combine what we did. We looked at each other one day and said, 'Maybe we should try to do this.'" The choice has certainly paid off: this year, Thompson Square replaced Sugarland and became the Academy of Country Music's "Vocal Duo of the Year," the first time a new artist has managed to do so in 20 years.

About:
A songwriter, singer, guitar player, and music student, Jerrod Nieman is a little bit of everything. You can tell this is true just by playing his newest album Free the Music: it features fiddles, acoustic guitars, bass, and horns, and draws inspiration from country, rock, jazz, and even reggae. Jerrod is intentionally pushing the envelope of what we consider country music to sound like. With this new album, he's both harkening back to a time when country music was just coming into its own, as well as propelling it into the future: "I made this record in an effort to try and mix 1927 with 2027, but I didn't want to disregard 100 years of what people have already done musically. Instead, I wanted to take that and do it in a way that is also representative of the future." Jerrod, as well as being an accomplished musician on his own, is also a talented songwriter; he’s written hit songs for Garth Brooks, Jamey Johnson, Neal McCoy, and several other notable artists

Rodney Atkins, smash-hit country artist, wants to remind us with his new album to Take a Back Road. Rodney likes to follow his own path, and he tries to let his music reflect that. He's had six number one hits from his first three albums, proving that there is something in Rodney's lyrics that strike a chord with country music listeners everywhere. Now, the single "Take A Back Road" is taking over the airwaves: it's irresistibly catchy chorus makes it a feel-good, summery hit, but as usual, there's something hidden deeper inside the song's outwardly cheery demeanor. "...it's not just a ditty - it's about life. If you want it to be just summer ear candy, it can just be that, but also it's about getting right with your soul, coming down to earth," Rodney says. Despite his successes, Rodney remains a down-to-earth country boy, who still always takes time out to do charity work, and travels back to his roots and visits home.
