We are revamping our condo, because we need more space. We saw an coffee table made of antique crates on Pintestest and thought it would be so cool to make! The problem is finding the crates. We searched all over the Sound one Saturday only to come up empty handed.
Then we looked on Craigslist and found the coolest 1960's milk crates. My FBP had to drive out to Mossyrock to get them, but they were so worth it!
The first thing my FBP did was take them to the car wash to pressure wash them. They are in fabulous condition but had been sitting in an old barn for years!
Then, we played building blocks putting the crates into different formations trying to figure out what would work best for us. We came up with this last night, and I think this is how my FBP is going to put them together.
We turned them all different ways to figure out which side looked best. Then he numbered them, so he could remember where they go.
We started with this picture from Pinterest!
My FBP is working on finishing the project today! I can't wait to show you how it turns out! Stay tuned...
