She's a goofball. That's why I love her. Except when she's mad. Then I hide from her. But I digress!
So I get a call from her on Friday night (crying like crazy) saying her wheel FLEW OFF while she was driving on I-90. I thought... ok... silly girl... it's probably just a flat tire or something. NO! I get to the scene, and sure enough... her WHEEL FLEW OFF while she was driving!!
Thankfully she just skidded to a stop and no one was hurt. But I took this picture at the scene Friday night...
Crazy stuff!! Moral of the story? Check your lugnuts today! Make sure they're tightened evenly (but not too tight, that can be just as bad).
Kristen's Guardian Angel was taking care of her that night. That could have been disastrous. Im glad that she is ok and that no one else was hurt. She deserves a big pat on the back for being able to stop the truck with out further damage. Im proud if her . Please givevher a hug from me.

They done went and used a socket that weren't deep enough maybe. Then there's the other problem..they tighten them so tight the dinky wrench you got won't loosen them. Nice drivin'!

Um, that's not right....
Hey just a thought, but unless that's a European car, like a BMW or something, shouldn't there be lug studs on that wheel hub? and not just holes? I mean, I know that most vehicles use a lug stud and lug nut combination, while manufacturers like BMW and Mercedes use lug bolts. Just curious.
I'm just glad no one got hurt. I saw a similar incident on X-mas eve. Some guys wheel and tire just flew off on my way to pick up my kid. Almost hit a few cars coming the other way. Scary stuff....
